Frozen Sheet Cakes???

Hi, I have to do a 4 Tier wedding cake for this Saturday,plus 2 sheet cakes. I'm going to be decorating the wedding cake all day Friday to have it ready for 11:30am Saturday morning. Can I prepare and decorate the sheet cakes(White cake with buttercream Icing) on Wednesday and put them in cake boxes and freeze them? I'd do it Thursday but I have other things I have to do that day. Thanks for all your help!!!

Yeah - that's what the grocery stores do with their sheet cakes I'm told!
