All, I was approached to do a small birthday cake for a woman who is into politics. Any ideas? I said if I couldn't think of something nice that was politics related, I could just do a cake with flowers. I seached for politics cake pictures but could find nothing. This is just going to be a small 6" cake.

Thanks in advance!

maybe a political button?
the donkey or elephant for the parties in a FBCT?
I will keep thinking.

I would google political cartoons and see what you find, often they are funny and still nice. Then do the cartoon as a transfer.

Still thinking, good luck .

I think it would be cute to decorate the sides of the cake in red, white and blue like a stage for a speech or debate...maybe red and white stripes with blue bunting and white stars on the bunting. Make the top blue with white stars like a carpet and put a chocolate or fondant podium on top. You could put columns behind the podium with greenery on top and flags or bunting hanging between them.
