Chocolate Icing From A Tub Instead Of Buttercream?

Has anyone ever substituted icing from a tub for buttercream under fondant? I was hoping to do this as a time saver for my next cake. Just wondering if anyone had any advice on the subject. Thanks!
No. Just, no. You may get different opinions on boxed vs. scratch for the cake, but I think we all agree that canned frosting is just no good. ![]()
