Has anyone ever shipped cupcakes before? How do you ensure that they make it to their destination in one piece?

i haven't done it, but i know it can be done. I saw recently that DC Cupcakes is shipping now. I can't imagine they wouldn't be shipping if it can't be done well.

It can be done... and they are freezing them before shipping. The problem with shipping them, is the cost! Just ridiculous!

I've been trying to ship for months... and it's anywhere from $25-$50!, depending on where you're going. I'm in Arizona, and it was $25 for San Diego, but to Florida, it was $50!! GASP!

If you are selling them, you must have your kitchen FDA approved and register with the bioterrorism act before you ship anything.
