Make Gift/shoe Box Cake?

I wonder if someone could please point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to make cakes look like boxes with lids, please.

Ive been asked to do a wedding cake that looks like 'stacked presents/gift boxes' but I can't seem to find a decent tutorial.

If you have enough time, I STRONGLY recommend Sugarshack's DVD on gift boxes. Awesome stuff, super helpful!

Hi icon_smile.gif I just made a shoe box cake. I prepared the shoe well in advance, thus giving it time to harden. To make the shoe look like it would fit into the box, I did the shoe box 5 high & 11 long. I did the sides first, then the lid. Much easier that way! Enjoy thumbs_up.gif
