Put cake on the two platforms. Carve the cake to shape, cover with buttercream or ganache. Build up the legs with cake or RKT or modelling chocolate, your preference. Round off the underbelly with RKT using Royal Icing as glue. Cover with fondant. Add the details.
That's how I'd do it.
