Hello,
Sometimes when I make a cake that is covered in fondant - and has little details glued to it - I tend to get a greasy/shiny look around where i've glued the little pieces (ex. purse - handle - zipper, etc..) - and if the water touches other parts of the fondant.. same shiny disaster ![]()
How can I avoid this from happening, and how can I take the greasy/shiny look off of the cake?
I can see it more when I use black or brown fondant....
Thanks so much!
Thank you! It has dried now..
Maybe I'll try the powdered sugar tonight!
