I have been researching the area trying to find satin ice so I don't have to pay shipping and am coming up empty. yellow pages only gives me bakeries, not baking supply/cake supply
I usually make my own fondant, but I want to try to use satin ice more.
Any ideas? I live in Wheaton (west suburbs)
i think I bought some at Hobby Lobby, although I wouldn't swear to it. Are you sure you want to try that brand? Lots of people have been having trouble with it lately I only use it for small cut outs.
Try Lori's Cakewalk store located at 1741 w. 99th st. Good Luck!
It's in Beverly...pretty far from Wheaton, but worth a trip if you need to stock up on a lot of stuff at once.
Try restaurant Supply stores. If you have a business license or know some one that does there's a place called Jetro on Division St that sells the 20 lb buckets for about $50...
