What is everyone's favorite filling for yellow cake. I like rapberry for it, but the bride is not sure. Any creative ideas out ther?
Rose-N-Krantz...do you mean Nutella, as in the jar you can buy in the grocery store? Do you mean straight from the jar, or add it to BC? I've never tried it before.
I found a Nutella mousse recipe somewhere. I haven't tried it yet, but an upcoming bride as requested a tasting with it.
First I spread a layer of ganache, then sprinkle some chopped (toasted) almonds, then squirt caramel ice cream topping on top. I love my homemade caramel, but the stuff in the bottle has a longer shelf life. Make sure you pipe a (stiff) dam first.
Nutella is awesome, but I whip it with butter and PS and vanilla to make a filling versus out of the jar...but considering my family's favorite thing to eat nutella on is a spoon, they probably wouldn't complain if it's straight....it goes further and is easier to spread if you make a BC out of it.
