Traveling With A Wedding Cake

Hello Everyone,
So I have my first wedding cake that I have to travel a good distance with and I'm scared. I have always assembled my cakes before i get there but i was only going about 1/2 hour away from my house. So I'm wondering what I should do with this one?? I have to travel about an hour and a 1/2 from my house. Should I assemble there or will I be ok?
what support system do you use on tier cakes I use the sps and have traveled over an hour and it arrived perfect in tact some other methids I just do not trust
