What tip number do you use for your leaves? What color do you like the best? How do I get the fatter rounder leaf?
thanks a bunch

i like forest green or moss green, the 352 is my favorite leaf tip. For a round leaf, you can use a tip 104

Love tip 352 with leaf green.

On one of my decorating tapes that I have, the instructor use the same color for leaves that she used for the flowers. I haven't tried it yet but intend to on my next cake.

Try letting your icing build up and see if that will give you a round or fatter leaf or try the larger leaf tip.

the tip i use depends on the leaf i want...sometimes i even just cut a parchment bag tip on a V and make my own.

i prefer mossy greens. regardless of the green you use, you can magically match it to your flowers by taking a bit of your flower icing and mixing it in with your green icing...the flower colour will tone your leaf colour to match. start with a small amount and add as desired. thumbs_up.gif

Thanks for that tip, aunt-judy. I would have never thought of that way to match the leaves to the flowers!! I love this site! I get some of the best tips from you all! Thanks again.
