So I've made Michele Foster's Fondant tons of times, and I've made chocolate MFF twice. This is my first with white chocolate. And the chips are NOT melting!! Is it because I got white chocolate baking chips instead of just white chocolate chips?

So I kept putting it into the microwave, hoping it will melt, and now it's overflowed! icon_mad.gif

Help anyone?

TIA!!!

I'm not sure what baking chips are...I've used candy melts, mostly Merckens without any problems. If they're white chocolate, no matter what the type of chip, you would think they would melt regardless. Sorry no help!

I bet those would melt way better! And I have some! Back to square one, I guess. Thank you, Amylou!

White chocolate chips are actually made to not lose shape when baked hence why.melting them is so difficult. Try wilton candy melts or the wh chocolate bars.
