Pricing depends on lots of factors individual to you - I mean costs for me to make say a 10 and 8? Inch cake maybe £30/40 total - cake, power, soap, boxes, boards, sticks, kitchen roll, baking paper, all of it!
But what I pay for butter might be twice what you do, you might be able to get ribbon for pennies etc.
You might live in the big city where there's lots of big earners that will pay $10 a slice. Location matters!
Get your pricing structure right for you, (so you make at least minimum wage per hour) then you can deal with any request.
Many people start at $3 a serving, plus extra for the edible image etc - but like I say if u pay extra for quality ingredients, that $3 might not leave anything for you!
xx
