I have a client wanting to put fresh peonies on her wedding cake. I have read that are toxic and to not use fresh. But I've also read that they are ok to use on cake.

Has anyone used fresh peonies??

They are poisonous.

They also wilt really fast, so they might be beautiful when you put them on, but depending on how long they're on the cake they won't look good when it's cut.
