It's very easy!
Make a 2 layer cake and fill the center with icing. Cut a generous size piece and place it on top of the uncut area. Ice the inside of the cake to look like icing/cake - coordinating colors. Match the inside areas in the cake and on the side of the slice. Thats it! There are lots of cute photos on this site. My business partner and I did a quickie one - it's in my photos.
