I made calla lilies with CK gumpaste this weekend. After cutting them, I put them on the cone tree formers for about 15 minutes, attached the flower stamin (I know it's called something else) center by threading a wire through the flower and allowed the lily to dry on the curved flower formers for about 30 minutes. Then I transferred them to a tablecloth onto a table. They kind of flattened slightly overnight. 
Is there another way of drying these flowers withouth laying them down on a table? Is it okay to use them like this? Thanks for any help I can get.

Hi Vicky,
for all flowers the best is to leave them to dry overnight. You can do the petal and leave it to dry on the cone (overnight) the same with the stamen. The next day you put a little bit of royal icing down in the cone, where the stamen is, and then put the stamen into it, like you did. Leave it to dry again.
I don´t know how flat your lilies are, but maybe you can use them with some new ones, like putting them between the new and the cake. So it lookslike they are only flat by the wieght of the over flowers.

I usually make the stamens and insert a wire then I use a foam block and put the stamens in and let hang upside down overnight until hardened. I then paint stamens with food glue and roll in a mixture ofcornmeal and yellow petal dust.
I then make petal, vein and attach using food glue, thenplace in cone former and let dry overnight or 24 hrs. then use petal dust of your color (coral etc)
