so i've made a doll cake for my dd bday. well i dint have a wonder pan, so i had to cook it in a bowl. well it came out super dense and heavy when its supposed to be super light. so i decided i was going to use it anyway, so i filled it with filling and crumb coated it, put it in the freezer. now im second guessing myself on serving it or not, and also wondering since its so dense if the filling is going to soak into it?? im quite frigghtened to take it out of the freezer.....
any suggestions on what i should do are greatly appreciated!!!
What did you fill it with? If you mean it's dense like a pound cake, I would think it would still be okay. If you filled with a mousse or something light like it and there's leftovers, offer it up with the cake in case anyone wants extra on their cake.
i filled it with a strawberry/mango mousse. I dont have leftovers, but I can always make more......
