Once again, I thought I posted something the other night, but can't find it. So sorry if it is a repost.

I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for a Mardi Gras cake theme for a church cake walk? I only would like to do a one tier cake.

antonia74 did a one tier mardi gras cake that I love! I based my 3 tier mardi gras cake on it. if you search the galleries, you'll find a few mardi gras cakes.

I made a KING cake a few years ago for work. I even made sure that every slice got a baby (didn't want anyone to feel left out). Now that I have taken some classes and listened to all of you, I think I will try another one this year.

www.sugarcraft.com has all kinds of Mardi Gras items to add to the cake. I'm making a huge cake and bought the mini bead necklaces, crown, coins and mini mask.

The mini bead neclaces are so cute.
