Is it possible to add lemon zest and lemon juice without changing the consistency of the frosting???

Take the amount of lemon juice you want to add out of the total amount of liquid called for in your recipe. Example, if you are using a tsp of lemon juice decrease the liquid by 1 tsp. You could also add extra powder sugar to account for the extra liquid to get the consistency you want.
