For some reason google block wont let me on the recipes on this site..

Dose anyone have a nice chocolate cake recipe that will be good for a fondant cake I only have the hersheleys chocolte cake recipe witch it way to soft for the amount of figures and fondant that im putting on the cake..

For a firm cake chocolate madeira works well.

a victoria sponge works very well under fondant icon_smile.gif have a look on gogole, or bbc.c.uk/food

Or Chocolate Mud cake, it's nice and firm and dense, wonderfully chocolatey, and lasts for days and days (in fact I have found it improves the longer you leave it).

I love the chocolate cake recipe, in the back of the Wilton book: Tiered Cakes. Its a very dense, rich moist cake. I normally use that recipe for my stacked cakes, that will need to with stand a lot of weight.

there is also a bug on the site just now causing warnings when you use the recipe section - so maybe thats why google wont let you use it.
