I would like to see the recipe you're using. Mousse is normally very pipeable.

That's not a real mousse, and I would never try to pass it off as one. Real mousse is a lot more work than that.
Do a google and find a real mousse recipe.

You can buy an instant mousse in the store. Dr. Oetker's or something like that.. Pretty good. If you loathe instant pudding and only eat cooked. Then this is the instant version of a long prepared mousse, not quite as good, but excellent as a supporting flavor in a cake and very stable. I use it often as a filling and for piping.
