I am making a scooby doo cake and need several colorful pieces of fondant but the last time I tried to color fondant, it made the fondant real sticky...is there something I can use to not make it sticky??? and how do I color it ...gel coloring ? or something else?

Definitely use gel coloring, if you are making the fondant, stir it into the mixture before adding the sugar. When you are adding color to store bought fondant keep you hands greased well, like the early response says and add a little more sugar if it is really soft or sticky.

if the fondant its self gets too sticky, a little extra ps can help - too much will dry it out tho!
