hi.i'm new at baking and i would like to try out using fondant.does anyone have a sure fire vanilla fondant recipe i could use.

The most simple recipe I've seen is from youtube, and you use a mixer. If you just type in 'making fondant with a mixer', it should come up. Good luck!
michelle foster's recipe on this site is really good. Give that a try. Lots of c/cers love it also. Carrie Biggers has a great recipe on her fondant dvd. It really taste great. She uses MAGIC LINE brand creme bouquet. It is a wonderful flavoring. Toba Garrett's fondant recipe is really good also.
