Because of a time issue, I dont have time to make patterns for gingerbread to make a gingerbread house as a centerpiece for a Christmas event; but I dont want a premade gingerbread kit. I love playing with my boys with their lincoln logs and thought about making just a bunch of logs made with gingerbread dough and constructing the gingerbread house with that. Has anyone ever done that before?

I saw one online, a very long time ago. It was a hunter's cabin in a forest. The back was open, and there was a deer's head hanging on the wall.
