I'am new to cake decorating and have only made cakes for younger people, iam doing a cake for my nan and stuck for ideas.

Does she like gardening? - a gardening theme might be good if she does, or just gumpaste flowers?
Thinking about the person's interests/hobbies is often helpful. Like for someone into sewing/quilting, you might do a cake with that theme for them.
What are her interests?
