Help!! How Do I Use Tip 104

I need to make turkey cupcakes and I can't figure out how to make the feathers. I know it is tip 104, but I can't seem to get the effect that everyone has.

Any help is appreciated!

I think you would do the feathers similar to flower petals. I would try to hold the fat end on top and drag it to the body of the turkey. Letting the BC fan out a bit at first before moving your tip.
Does that make sense? Hope it does.

I just made Turkey cookie over the weekend and used tip #352. It's a leaf tip and if you wiggle it as the up and down as you squeeze the frosting out it will look like a feather. You can see the cookie sin my pics.

you would hold the tip like you do making daffodils, start at the back of cupcake. big end down , little end out. pipe out , come back in, pipe out ,come back in . then drop down little with another color. pipe out ,come back in, etc. until you do all colors. hth here is a site that uses leaf tip
