I couldn't believe it when I opened my Facebook page and my cake was there as his last pick. I'm still in shock!
TLC emailed me to find out more about me, etc...
Just thought I'd share, cuz you guys would understand my excitement!!!!

Thank you all so much! Your comments are greatly appreciated. I'm still overwhelmed by it all.....I was so NOT expecting that.
The cake took me about 18hrs, start to finish. I re-painted it 3 times. LOL I'm not much of a fish person. icon_smile.gif

ah thats very nice. i tried to click on like but it kept giving me an error. my brother inlaw got to meet him recently on a book signing event in boston. would love to have had B see afew of mine cakes (i dont have all of them here) so happy for you! i'm excited and its not even my cake lol congrats! icon_smile.gif

Buddy asked his fans to post their work on his Facebook fan page and he would pick three for his "cake Boss" seal of approval. Well he posted one a day starting on Monday and then Wed. he said he had one more that he just had to pick as well and that he would post it the next day. I was shocked (to say the least) to find my cake staring back at me when I opened my page yesterday. You just don't expect it. There were a lot of cakes posted and really awesome work from so many people.
