I made my first cake for pay today!!! I have been making them for fun and as gifts to people, but today I made a birthday cake for two of the women at my work, and my boss paid me $20 for it!! It's not the amount so much as someone thinking my talent is worth their money. icon_biggrin.gif

Congrats, what a great step forward. Did you post a photo yet? You should have taken a pic of the cake with the cash in hand next to it.. you now like some businesses do with their 1st $ earned in a frame behind the register, hehehehehehe.. silly!
