If I make a cake with cream cheese frosting can I put fondant accents on it or will it melt the fondant. I think one time I had made a frosting with whipped cream and cream cheese and I thought that it melted the fondant???

You can't put fondant over cream cheese. Can't remember why. I know that I was told no and never attempted it. icon_razz.gif

I've used fondant accents on a crusting cream cheese iced cake.
