How Do I Cover A Cake Dummy With Fondant???...

Hi Cakers!!! icon_biggrin.gif

With the exception of Buttercream and Royal icing, what can I use on my 4" round cake dummy so that the fondant will adhere?

In addition, how do I adhere fondant to Rice Krispie Treats??

I appreciate your help!!

Piping gel. Works great.

I simply spritz my dummy with a fine spray of water , works a treat icon_smile.gif

I used Shortening on the dummy and water on the RKT.

Worked very well....so far.

I used piping gel on the styrofoam dummy cake and buttercream icing on the rkt.
