i made 2 cakes for my daughter's first birthday party and they were only the 2nd and 3rd cakes i've made so far. i'm so glad it's over but all in all i'm happy with how everything came out.
i was asked all day if i'd be willing to do work for family, oh boy what did i get myself into?!

Cute cakes! It's a delicious sickness, isn't it? I can be horribly exhausted from being on my feet all day, but not long after I'll say, "Wow...I'm ready for the next!"
