Can anyone please tell the pans used or how the realistic turkey cakes were carved? I have so many super fantastic ones and I just have to try it! Thank you so much for your time

When I did a "cooked turkey" cake I just layered 4 13x9 cakes and carved it to look like the shape of a turkey. I had a picture of a cooked turkey to look at and started cutting.

When I made my turkey cake I followed Mrs Missey's directions... the on ly change I made was that I used two of the egg shaped pans and levelled the bottom so it was secure. It was so freaky how real it looked! Her directions are wonderful!

I did a turkey hiding under a pile of fall leaves only his head and tail feathers show. Pretty easy to do. Sorry I don't know how to attach a pic.
