A am doing a cake for my sons birthday next weekend and want to try to sculpt cars out of mini loaf pans. I would like to get an early start since I have never sculpted before. Can I freeze them for a couple of days after sculpting??? Also when should I crumb coat, before or after freezing ???

Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, wrap them tigtly. I like to freeze my sculpted cakes, at least a little so they hold their shape better when putting icing/fondant on them.

Sounds like a cute idea for the cars!!!

Good luck!!
