What Should I Do? Egg Help!

I left my 5 dozen icon_surprised.gif eggs in the car last night!!! My husband saw them at 5:30am and put them in the fridge. Should I toss them?

Weather was not too bad. It was 57 degrees last night.

They're fine. The U.S. is one of the few countries in the world that even thinks it needs to refrigerate eggs.

Althought I store eggs in the fridge, in UK supermarkets, they are stored on shelves, so should be fine.

if unsure, put them in a bowl of water, if they are off they will float. hth

I have chickens and leave my eggs on the counter. They sit out there for days and days before I use them. My whole family eats them regularly and we've had no problems. icon_smile.gif
