I'm looking for a sale on Duncan Hines Cake mixes in Virginia. Usually I can find them @ 10 for $10 but recently I've had trouble finding the sales. Has anyone seen any?
I live in Canada where even $1.50 per box is a HUGE bargain
I think Europe and Australia are similarly expensive for cake supplies and equipment too. Consider yourself lucky to live in the states![]()
Walmart/Target in central VA sells them for $1.16 each... I think they are supposed to be cheaper as we get closer to the holidays.
I may need to have my parents import from PA at .69 each.
Sorry I can't help. Too bad you aren't near me in Texas, they are on sale for $.89 this week at one of the stores.
Which store? I am in Texas. But not all grocery stores are in all Texas towns/cities.
Remember that Walmart Price matches!
A local grocery store had them on sale for .69 cents a piece and Walmart took that with no problem, as opposed to paying $1.16 for them each.
I'm in Northern VA and this week they're 10 for 10 at Martin's.
Yes, you do need the flier. I think they will only match prices from other competitors in the region.
WOW, 69 and 79 cents for Duncan Hines cake mixes! Holy crow! I have never ever heard of them being that cheap Our sale here, currently is 1.67
How does the Wal Mart price match work? Does it work region to region? do you need a flyer from the other store?
It not necessarily the region. They're only supposed to accept adds from local competitors (pretty much anything withint a 30mile radius) at least that is what it was when i worked at a couple (and they were hours apart, not in nearby towns, so both wal-marts were in different regions)
My local wal-mart always has copies of adds hanging at each register, but i always take mine with me from a local store to make sure they don't have to hunt for it, i always have the pages of the ads marked.
69 cents for DH? and i thought i found a good deal last week at 88 cents/ea
