My entire family had fun coming up with this Lego cupcake party theme. A regular cupcake stand just wouldn't suffice....so we created a Lego cupcake stand.

My son had a Lego themed birthday party last year and he and his dad built Lego serving bowls for fruit and chips. They were super cute. icon_smile.gif We had a large cake, not cupcakes, so a stand like that wouldn't have worked, but I did use a green baseplate as a cake board. (On top of a sturdier board -- the baseplate by itself is too thin to support much weight.) The serving tower/stand is a great idea and could easily be adapted to display party favors or any kind of food besides cupcakes, too.
