So Are You Saying Dont Buy A Cricut Cake?

I was a crazy papercrafter back in the day and was suckered by the infomercial. Before I knew it, I had a cricut and TONS of cartridges, and I can count the number of times I used it on my one hand! After seeing these posts and knowing my husband would have a heart attack if I decided I wanted a Cricut Cake when I didn't even touch the original cricut, I went ahead and cut the rubber guides for the paper out of my Cricut (my papercrafting friends almost fainted! *LOL*) and I took out the original blade that was in there, even though I'd barely used it and put in a new one and gave cutting gumpaste a go. I LOOOOOVE it and now I really DO want the Cricut Cake since my cricut is the smaller version - granted, I don't really know what I would cut that needs to be bigger than what I've already got...
I had read a friend of mine's review about it driving her crazy the first time, so before I gave it a whirl, I put my reeeeally thinly rolled out gumpaste in the freezer before I made the cuts. Turned out great! Haven't actually used it again since the test, but hopefully I will soon....*LOL*
