I am going to make a fondan cover cake this christmas.
What kind of butter cream I have to use under fondan paste ???
Is the one same with butter cream usually use when they make cupcakes ??
Or I shoud make something called crusting butter cream??
Or more stiffing butter cream ???
Please !! Any answer would be great!

Hi there I just the same recipe as my cupcake butter cream but I am in the uk and we dont go in for all the different flavours. I think you can pretty much use any butter cream but I am new to this too so could be wrong.

The more cakes you cover with fondant, the more you will figure out what you like best. When I use buttercream, I like a crusting buttercream, and I prefer Indydebi's recipe, but there are a lot of recipes out there. My favorite is ganache - then fondant. Good Luck!
