I am attempting to make the following [beautiful!] castle cake for my daughter's 4th birthday:

Any idea if it looks like they make their square cakes double layer or triple layer? I was going to use 9" and 6" pans, I just don't know if I should do a triple layer 6" cake on top of a triple layer 9" cake? Or double layer 6" cake on top of a double layer 9" cake? (I watched their tutorial but they didn't go over details about the square cakes they made, they really only talked about the turrets). Not sure how high a triple layer cake measures vs a double layer cake.

Thank you!

They look like double layers to me.
