How Do I Make A Frosting That Tastes Like Marshmallow Creme?

Years ago there used to be a popular one that I actually had on my wedding cake 25 (OMG) yrs ago. I am wondering if it was the Italian Meringue Buttercream that I am thinking of? Does anyone know if this tastes like marshmallow creme?
It is probably the 7 minute frosting which is acutally boiled frosting.It comes out like marshmellow.Should be a recipe on here or the web for 7 minute frosting...I personally think it tastes like rubber but it is personal preference.
