Making cupcakes for a fall festival church back sale. How does chocolate cupcakes with a pumpkin buttercream sound? I think it sounds interestingly good, but my sister said the opposite. Has anyone made this combination before?

I'm not a chocolate/pumpkin combo fan. How about a pumpkin cupcake with a ginger buttercream?

I've made a chocolate-pumpkin cake that is yummy. You could not that w/a cream cheese frosting.

We make a pumpkin cheesecake with gingerbread crust and it's very popular, so I would agree with a pumpkin cupcake and ginger icing.
