Has anyone tried the smooth icing technique where you frost a cirlce just larger than the cake, freeze it then turn your cake on top of it? Has it been successful for anyone? I am intrested in trying this, but I am a little nervous. Thanks , Keli
I have tried it on a 8" 2 -layer cake. Turned out good, but I could actually frost and smooth with Viva paper towels alot faster. If you go to www.sugarcraft.com, they have the step-by-step directions on how to do it. HTH
