i need help on how to make a sofa cake to feed 15. i dont even know where to start. im doing a gumpaste homer simpson laying on the cake with his favourate things doughnut, beer and burgers. this cake is for my brother in law who is a big fan of the simpsons. would appreciate your help.
Hey there. Ill try and describe this as best I can. Ive taken this from carol deacons book- party cakes for children.
Start off with a square cake and cut in half horizontally
Again cutting horizontally cut about one inch off one of the halves. then cut this strip in two. This makes the armrests. The remaining piece of this half makes the back of the sofa.
The other full half makes the bit you sit on. assemble it together and round off the edges.
