A friend asked me to make a cake for 6 people for a ladies weekend. I was thinking a 6 inch would work.

That serves 12 according to the Wilton chart. That's what I use icon_smile.gif

That is if it is a 2-layer cake, I should add.

6" round serves 12.

Yes, 6" would work for 6 people - just had a 6" cookie and cream filled (torted and filled twice) devils food for dessert tonight and it fed 5 nice size slices and there is almost 1/2 of it left over.
