Pink Velvet Cupcakes?!?! Too Dark For A Baby Shower?

Looking for some CC opinions on these cupcakes.
It is my girlfriends shower this weekend and I offered to make her cupcakes for the event!

I attempted pink velvet recipe tonight (and they turned out YUMMY!) but feel that they may be too dark for a baby girl baby shower.

I plan to ice with baby pink and baby green icing. Is the pink too PINK?

I made some pink velvet ones for a friend's birthday and they were yummy too! IMO, if you frost them with the pastel colors they will be fine.
