Can tres leches cakes be frozen? Is so do you freeze them before the soaking liquid is put on the cake or after. Also do you add the soaking liquid while the cake is warm - just out of the pan? Any other advice about tres leches cake would be appreciated. Thank you

I would bake the cake wrap it well in plastic wrap and freeze. When you need to use the cake just take it out of the freezer leaving the plastic wrap on for at least two hours to thaw. Then i poke the cake with a skewer and drench with milks. I have one lady that only orders Tres leches cakes and she doesn't like the cakes to soggy. The recipe I use makes a large amount of the milk mixture so I just cut the recipe in half. Just make sure that you don't poke holes to close to the side of the cake or the milks will run out the side making it difficult to frost.

Sorry forgot one of your questions. I bake my cakes let them cool to room temp before soaking with the milks.
