Hi, making a Harry Potter cake. Does anyone have or know of a tutorial for making a cake to look like a book. both open and closed.

Look for a template of an open book in scetches and patterns, in the gallery, by Doug. Or buy a pan.
There are tuitorials on you tube for closed book, they are easy. the bottom cover is jsut trim, about 1/8 in., spine and top. Use white fondant strip for pages or BC. Indent with lines.
