I have to do a Converse shoe and a "dirty" Nike Shoe (with socks hanging out) for upcoming birthdays. Not sure where to start, and could certainly spend the time researching and drawing templates, but was hoping someone had them already or had a tutorial. I also would love to know what cake recipes are used for the shoe, as I am nervous about carving it all.
Thanks in advance!!!

Trish

Funny, I had a request for a converse shoe come through yesterday.

For those that have made them, what did you price them out at? I have never done a 3D cake before and don't know where to start for prices....

You're very welcome Trish! I have that saved for that "just in case" moment. I'm not brave enough to try it quite yet!! Good luck and I hope it turns out great! Post pictures!! icon_biggrin.gif
