Does anyone know how I can make a blues clues cake shaped like the dog. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I have never tried to make a cake shaped like an animal before. Would I need to make it out any special cake,I really don't want to use pound cake. My daughter is turning 2 and is in love with blues clues. Of course they don't make him any more, so it's hard to find. Thanks!!!

I made one last year. It was just the head,and I used a 16" square pan. I believe it was chocolate,not sure. I first drew it on wax paper,and with a little icing,I transferred it on the cake. I had to use whipped frosting,because that's what the mom wanted,but I think BC would be much better. You can see it in my photos. I hope this helps.
