I just noticed it on another thread and have no idea what it is......
torting is when you take for example a 2" high cake and cut it into two 1" layers.
and fill inbetween???
Yes...alot of people take two cake rounds and split them into four layers so you end up with four layers of cake and three layers of filling.
thanks I would always split my cake just had not heard it called torting before thanks
